How is it done ?

The new head of hair is then reconstructed by closely observing how hair actually grows from the scalp. Based on each client, individual notes are taken as to the direction the hair is currently growing from the scalp and how the client wants to comb their hair.
Then follicle by follicle, a new head of hair is created by hand. Because of the intricate nature of making your new hair look like your own, each head of hair is created one follicle at a time. A spiralling crown and a virtually undetectable frontal hairline is often created to ensure a realistic outcome. Subsequently, most of the work is done when the client isn’t there. The hair is quality checked and prepared in advance so on the day of application, in most instances, the process can be completed in 90 minutes.
Because of this new technology and the fact that the hair is added one strand at a time, you can actually see your own scalp. This new hair and scalp technology is non-intrusive, completely porous and does not hinder hair growth nor does it harm follicle or scalp cells. Why is this method better than surgery ?
Although transplants have improved from bulky and obvious plugs to micro-grafts there are still limitations due to lack of donor area.
Since the hair is taken in strips from the back of the head, cut into small grafts and reinserted to the front you can’t get the density that is needed to make your hair line look natural. It is simply like half of an apple pie sitting on the table. No matter how thin you slice that pie and move around the pieces, you still have half a pie! Because the Hair Weaving/Bonding process uses real human hair, you can shampoo and condition, style it and even use gel or mousse to get that style you’ve always wanted. When you get out of the shower, you can comb your hair effortlessly and shape it any way you want.
I’m only 26 and like to play sports and go swimming. Should this concern me?
No. Because we have been perfecting Hair Repalcement for a number of years, we focused on making the process for very active individuals. The Hair Weaving/Bonding process can be done in steps over time. We can start in the crown area and increase density over time. Although most people just go for the gold, this option is available. Also many clients begin to grow facial hair before they go with the process and then shave after it is completed. It is amazing how people notice you look good, but can’t put their finger on it. This process looks so natural, you too will forget what you used to look like without hair.
How do you do it and how long does it take?
The Hair Weaving/Bonding process is unique in that we match your hair with other human hair based on colour, wave or curl and density. Then follicle by follicle, we reconstruct your new head of hair based on these parameters to give you a very natural looking outcome. Since this is a very labour intensive and time consuming process, most of the work is done while the client is not there. Then, on the big day, when we actually do the procedure, you can have your hair back in less than 2 hours.
What is the cost ?
It really depends on the amount of work that needs to be done. Because there is such a wide variety of hair loss it is necessary to see each individual. Matter of fact, if we feel you do not have enough hair loss, we’ll gladly provide you with tips on maintaining your current hair and a healthy scalp and have you visit us at a later date to see how your hair is progressing.
